The Situation
Digitas is a global marketing and technology agency focussed on creating connected experiences that bring brands to life.
Following the departure of their in-house Design Recruiter, Digitas needed to make several senior hires in this discipline.
Due to a booming freelance market and a recent office move, they had been struggling to attract the right calibre of candidates. This resulted in Digitas engaging with SyncD to gain access to a larger pool of high calibre talent to secure several vital hires swiftly.
Additionally, they required expert insight to optimise their employer brand and interview process.
Our goals were to:
- Make numerous key hires across UX and visual design
- Increase Digitas’ brand awareness and visibility in a competitive market
- Support and upskill hiring managers on interview techniques
The Approach
SyncD deployed an Account Manager and two Talent Partners – with strong backgrounds in attracting hard-to-find talent within the UX and visual design space.
Our initial discovery session consisted of meeting with all key stakeholders to understand the team structure, projects, hiring profiles, and any current challenges. This was followed by the team shadowing managers on several interviews to gain insight into the current interview process.
These sessions enabled us to highlight critical changes we could make to improve their interview process.
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process enabled us to develop a weekly report that tracked recruitment activity and candidate pipelines for that week.
Working closely with key hiring managers, we were also able to offer market insights and develop candidate attraction strategies to engage with their target candidate pools.
