Sam Scriven
A bit about me.
My role at SyncD is all about working closely with hiring managers to attract candidates throughout digital sectors.
My expertise.
I pride myself on my consultative approach, always driving to ensure an efficient experience from start to finish for the candidates, clients and hiring managers we work with.
My background, prior to joining SyncD.
I started working in recruitment in mid 2014; starting my recruitment career working on high volume and fast-paced temporary desks, this gave me exposure to very much a process driven way of recruitment. I then went to work in permanent chef recruitment role in London where I was working with some of the city’s most prestigious independent and groups of hotels and restaurants.
For the past 3 years I have been working with companies in Somerset recruiting for their technical and engineering recruitment needs. I was working with manufacturers of civil engineering machinery, rail transportation parts, and also working with a FinTech business to give some examples.
Why I joined SyncD.
SyncD for me was a complete no brainer, I will have the opportunity to work alongside market leading recruiters and be part of one of the UK’s top digital recruitment companies. With the recruitment experience I have gained over the years I felt that this was a natural next step to continue to develop my skills as a recruiter, giving me access to work directly with hiring managers and clients on their projects.
What’s my biggest feel-good moment since joining SyncD.
I have been made to feel part of the SyncD team from the word go, everyone has been extremely supportive and can’t do enough offering guidance through the variety of challenges this role throws at you.
When I am not working.
I enjoy a mixture of team sports and motorsports, with a particular interest in F1. I like to go for long walks with my wife or you can find me trail running along West Country footpaths. You will regularly find me stuck in a YouTube rabbit hole when I’m relaxing, always open to new ideas .
